About the project

Architectural bureau MORS is engaged in designing public spaces from the architectural idea to the launch of business processes. The presented project is the bureau's own office. It was necessary to create all conditions for comfortable work of the team, to reflect in the interior the philosophy and values of the bureau, to demonstrate their own skills, while keeping within a small budget. The office was located in a loft quarter with the creative atmosphere of TRM. The space used to be a mini-branch of a bank with a large armored cash desk and safes. Dismantling the armored structures was not an easy task. We also wanted to maximize the historical component of the space, for which it was decided to clean all the walls from the numerous layers of plaster to the brickwork of the early XIX century. It was necessary to place all the zones necessary for the work of the team in a small area. There is a kitchenette, a meeting area, a print point, a checkroom with storage and workstations. We wanted to create a clean, modern space without unnecessary details - like an architectural model where form and function are the main thing. The space is like a 3D model that has not yet been textured - it has great potential and does not impose a certain style or typology on those who stay in it. The floor here is also white, ceramic - such a solution always requires impeccable cleanliness, so the floor covering is realized in one level, there are no trapdoors and wires, and a robot vacuum cleaner can do the cleaning.
